Kitchen needs your help

Feed My Sheep plans to open its doors for lunch on Easter Sunday.

Feed My Sheep has served over 110,000 meals at the soup kitchen and through delivery to the homebound.

The number of meals served continues to grow, and with that, so does the need for community assistance.

On Sunday, April 4, Feed My Sheep will open for Easter lunch from noon to 1 p.m. The menu will include ham, potato salad, English peas and salad. Assorted pies and cakes will be served for dessert.

There is a great need for food and donations from the local community to assist with the cost of the lunch. Volunteers also are needed to help serve food. To donate or volunteer for the Easter lunch, contact Wayne Favre, director of Feed My Sheep, at 864-2701.

Visit feedmysheepgulfport.org for ways to get involved and donate on a regular basis, and stay connected to Feed My Sheep on Facebook and Twitter to help raise awareness for the mission.
