BOIL WATER NOTICE

Gulfport, Mississippi: Due to a water main repair a “Boil Water Notice” has been issued for the citizens in the area of Swetman Boulevard between Augustine Drive and Anniston Avenue.

Citizens who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.

The Gulfport Water Works Division will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

Tegarden Road – Road Closure Extended 11-25-20

ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED

 

Gulfport, Mississippi.

Gulfport, Mississippi. At the intersection of Tegarden Road and Riley Avenue, the intersection will be closed to thru traffic in order to repair a sewer cave-in. The road closure has been extended from December 1, 2020 thru December 4, 2020, if the weather and the conditions allow it. Loposser Avenue, Victory Street and Church Street will be used as the detour route. The City of Gulfport is asking all residents to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.

Gulfport, Mississippi: Due to a water main repair a “Boil Water Notice” has been issued for the citizens in the area of Klein Road west to North Wilson Boulevard and from Dedeaux Road north to Klein Road. This also includes Harris Drive, Maurine Circle, Patricia Circle, Wesley Circle, Graham Circle and Fore Circle.

Citizens who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.

The Gulfport Water Works Division will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

 

(Gulfport, Miss)— Local officials “Lifted all boil water notices” for the citizens in the area of Hamilton Street from Mobile Avenue east to Depew Road on the north side of Hamilton Street. This also includes Royal Street from Depew Road west to the Cul-de-sac on the south side of Royal Street.

Multiple tests performed by the Gulfport Water Works Division indicated the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

Klein Road – Road Closure Extended 11-20-20

In the area of Klein Road from Fore Street north to Carnes Street the north and south bound lanes will be closed to thru traffic in order to install a new water main on Klein Road. The road closure has been extended from November 25, 2020 thru December 23, 2020 from 7:00am until 3:00pm each day, if the weather and the conditions allow it. North Wilson Boulevard will be used as the detour route. The City of Gulfport is asking all residents to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.

Gulfport, Mississippi, In the area of Ganges Street between 34th Avenue and Acacia Street the east and west bound lanes will be closed to thru traffic in order to make a new sewer tap crossing Ganges Street. The road closure has been scheduled for November 23, 2020 thru November 25, 2020, from 7:00am until 3:00pm each day if the weather and the conditions allow it. Acacia Street, Harris Drive and 34th Avenue will be used as the detour route. The City of Gulfport is asking all residents to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
