Multiple tests performed by the Gulfport Water Works Division indicated the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

Orange ?Grove Road-EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE 2-24-20

EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE

Gulfport, Mississippi.

Gulfport, Mississippi. The east and west bound lanes on Orange Grove Road from Old Hwy 49 west to Canal Road will be closed to thru traffic in order to pave a section of Orange Grove Road. The road closure has been scheduled from February 25, 2020 until February 26, 2020, if the weather and the conditions allow it. The City of Gulfport is asking all residents to observe and follow all traffic marks placed in the area. Canal Road, Robinson Road and Old Hwy 49 will be used as the detour route.

(Gulfport, Miss)— Local officials “Lifted all boil water notices” for the citizens in the area of 51st Street from O’Bryan Avenue northeast to Monroe Avenue including Monroe Avenue from 52nd Street south to 51st Street.

(Gulfport, Miss)— Local officials “Lifted all boil water notices” for the citizens and businesses in the area of Polk Street south to Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and from Ohio Avenue west to Michigan Avenue. This also includes Illinois Avenue from Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard south to Jefferson Street and the North Gulfport 7th & 8th Grade School and Isaiah Fredrick Head Start Center.

Gulfport, Mississippi: Due to a water main repair a “Boil Water Notice” has been issued for the citizens in the area of Collins Boulevard from West Avenue east to Rosemary Drive.

 

Citizens who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.

 

The Gulfport Water Works Division will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

East Beach Boulevard – Lane Closure 2-20-20

LANE CLOSURE

 

City of Gulfport, Mississippi:

 

Gulf Breeze Construction, has submitted a notification of “Lane Closure” in the area of East Beach Boulevard between 15th Street and 20th Avenue. The west bound outside lane will be closed to through traffic in order to perform traffic signal work. The inside west bound lane will remain open to through traffic. The lane closure has been scheduled from February 24, 2020 thru February 25, 2020 from 7:00am until 5:00pm each day if the weather permits. Gulf Breeze Construction is asking the citizens of Gulfport to observe and follow all traffic markers placed along East Beach Boulevard.
