West Pine Street- Road Closure Extended 12-10-18

ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED,

Gulfport, Mississippi, The east and west bound lanes on West Pine Street between Bridge Street and Cowan Road will be closed to thru traffic in order to install a new drainage system crossing West Pine Street. The road closure has been extended from December 10, 2018, until December 21, 2018, if the weather permits. Monet Street, Spring Street and Bridge Street will be used as the detour route.

Brickyard Bayou Restoration Phase 2-C

(Hwy 49 to 30th Ave) Project Announcement

December 10, 2018

Dear Property Owner or Resident:

We are pleased to inform you that the City of Gulfport will begin working on improvements to the drainage system in your area. The project construction is 100% funded by the Community Development Block Grant.

In order to complete the project, the City of Gulfport requests your patience and cooperation throughout the duration of the construction. Construction of this project will begin this week, and is expected to be completed by September 2019.

Please secure all pets and remind all children to stay clear of the construction area, material, and equipment. We ask that you please avoid parking in the vicinity of the project. This will assist the contractor, SCI Inc., in completing the construction as soon as possible.

During the course of the work, there may be minor inconveniences. We express regret for any difficulty that you may experience and ask for your patience throughout the duration of the project. BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED,

Gulfport, Mississippi: Local officials “lifted all boil water notices” for the citizens and businesses in the area of Klein Road from Community Road south to River Ten Road, including Bel-Air Elementary and Cross Roads Elementary.

Multiple tests performed by the Gulfport Water Works Division indicated the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.

34th Street-Boil Water Notice Lifted 12-7-18

BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

Gulfport, Mississippi: Local officials “lifted all boil water notices” for the citizens in the area of 34th Street from 13th Avenue west to 20th Avenue, including Taber Extrusions, Club 34 and UPS.

Hidden Oaks Subdivision- Smoke Test 12-5-18

SMOKE TEST,

Gulfport, Mississippi, The City of Gulfport will be smoke testing the sewer lines in the area of Hidden Oaks Subdivision. The smoke testing has been scheduled from December 10, 2018, until December 14, 2018 from 8:00a.m, until 2:00p.m, if the weather permits.

Old Hwy 49- Road Closure Extended 12-3-18

ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED,

Gulfport, Mississippi. The north and south bound lanes on Old Hwy 49 between 5th Street and South Swan Road will be closed to thru traffic in order to install a new sewer main. The road closure has been extended from December 3, 2018 until December 21, 2018 from 7:00am until 2:00pm each day if the weather permits. East Side Avenue, 3rd Street and South Swan Road will be used as the detour route.

Klein Road- Water Outage/Boil Water Notice 12-3-18

WATER OUTAGE/BOIL WATER NOTICE

Gulfport, Mississippi: Due to a fire hydrant repair the City of Gulfport has issued a “Water Outage/Boil Water Notice” for the citizens and businesses in the area of Klein Road from Community Road south to River Ten Road, including Bel-Air Elementary and Cross Roads Elementary.

The Water Outage/Boil Water Notice has been scheduled for December 6, 2018 from 2:30pm until 8:30pm if the weather permits.

John Ross Road – Road Closure Extended 12-3-18

ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED,

Gulfport, Mississippi. The north and south bound lanes on John Ross Road from Hwy 605 north to O’Neal Road will be closed to thru traffic in order to install a new drainage system along John Ross Road. The road closure has been extended from December 3, 2018 until December 7, 2018, from 8:00am until 2:30pm each day, if the weather permits. O’Neal Road and Hwy 605 will be used as the detour route.

Palmer Drive- Boil Water Notice Lifted 11-29-18

BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED,

Gulfport, Mississippi: Local officials “lifted all boil water notices” for the citizens in the area of Palmer Drive from Red Oak Drive east to Debuy’s Road, including Broadwater Drive, Palmer Drive, St. Charles Court, Magazine Circle, Oakridge Circle and Oakridge Place.

Multiple tests performed by the Gulfport Water Works Division indicated the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.
