Gulf and Ship Island Sewer & Water

Main Installation, Project Announcement

 March 15, 2019

Dear Property Owner or Resident:

We are pleased to inform you that the City of Gulfport will begin working on installing a new sewer and water system in your area.

In order to complete the project, the City of Gulfport requests your patience and cooperation throughout the duration of the construction. Construction of this project will begin next week, and is expected to be completed by August 2019.

Please secure all pets and remind all children to stay clear of the construction area, material, and equipment. Since some of the excavations will be adjacent to the roadway during this period, we also ask that you please avoid parking in the vicinity of the project. This will assist the contractor, Utility Partners, LLC, in completing the construction as soon as possible.

During the course of the work, there may be minor inconveniences. We express regret for any difficulty that you may experience and ask for your patience throughout the duration of the project. Please contact Brian McKnight, with the City of Gulfport Public Works Department to discuss any questions that you may have. He can be reached at (228) 868-5740 or email (preferred) at bmcknight@gulfport-ms.gov.

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue our efforts to improve the City of Gulfport.

Have a Great Mississippi Gulf Coast Day!
