The Gulfport Police Department utilizes the voluntary services of the local citizens to enhance existing police services and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. The Gulfport Police Department VIPS and Reserve CST (Community Service Technician) Program offers a wide variety of duties throughout the department with on-the-job training. We value our volunteers for their dedication in which together with law enforcement make our jobs more productive.

Reserve Community Service Technicians (CSTs)
Reserve Community Service Technicians (CST’s) will provide non-emergency, public service assignments within the City of Gulfport. Reserve CSTs will be required to complete the regular CST Field Training Program. This position requires outdoor work and good decision making skills. People interested in this position will need to be able to deal with the public on a professional level.
