Deer Season

Deer season in Mississippi begins Saturday, Nov. 21, and with hunters on the Coast hoping to harvest “the big one,” the City of Gulfport wants you to be prepared when heading out into the woods. Fishing

Looking for big fish?

Many local anglers have reported catching stringers full of specks and white trout in recent days near several of the city’s inshore fishing reefs. Most of the reefs are close enough to wade out to, and they are all strategically placed near parking bays along U.S. 90. For a color map of the hottest fishing spots in the city, click here.
